GREY STRAINING GREY

i ascend to sight in a time of hinges & strife a time of blarings & mongerings a wharf rocked by callouses the hands rocked by grapeshot by the anxious old & the hunkering the batten of hatch what i see i see w/what i've opened w/whatever i've become from despite disrepair & the rock salt straining the grey straining the harried ascensions of sight
